Dunnegan Memorial Park is the crown-jewel of Bolivar’s parks system.
The 45-acre plot officially became a city park over 100 years ago in 1923 thanks to a generous donation from Bolivar’s T.H.B. Dunnegan.
The park features a wet-weather stream and a small lake with ample wildlife like swans, geese, and ducks.
Visitors can walk around the park on a mile-long chat trail that winds through the park’s many trees.
Dunnegan Memorial Park has multiple playgrounds with slides, swings, and other equipment for children.
